Ravens

In the latest edition of Nature Notes I mentioned that I had found a raven's pinion feather and that whilst I had heard they were in Hampshire I hadn't yet spotted one.

A villager emailed me to say they had indeed seen two ravens flying over houses in the Green Lane area of the village so watch out for them over the village. They are big birds so you should be able to spot them.
