We found a soprano pipistrelle bat in the road with a torn wing and scooped him up into a box. I rang the Bat Conservation Trust and they gave us the name of a bat rehabilitator just down the road in World's End and we dropped him off there within the hour.
He is a male and stands a good chance of healing and being released again locally.
