Golden Ringed Dragonfly

What a treat to join this beautiful Golden-Ringed Dragonfly yesterday on our walk across glorious grass and heath land. According to the The Wildlife Trust's website this is one of the largest dragonflies we have in this country and it is a voracious predator eating fellow dragonflies, damselflies, wasps, beetles and bees.
