We have little bees all over the lawn. Their little fluffy bums are sticking up where they are digging in the dry earth and we don't have the heart to move them on.
I looked through the guides and I think these are possibly tawny mining bees but they look a bit too yellow so could be leaf cutter bees, but they are not mining bees and don't usually dig into the ground, although it's not unheard of.
